The day before, Sean told me to take it easy and run 7:30's today. I took heed and ran pretty easy. But the days of 7:30 pace are few and far between now. On a bad day these days, I run closer to 7:00 - 7:10 pace. There have definitely been some physiological changes over the past few months. But that's not to say my runs have gotten a whole lot easier. Along with the increased fitness, we have ratcheted up the difficulty of the workouts. Sometimes my body responds well, other times not so much. But that's ok because it is all part of the adaptive process. Today I ran 7:10 pace.
