This was not a day to be trifled with. The humidity was stifling. I waited till about 1 pm to do my run. My legs just couldn't go 9 today. I've been running really slow the past few weeks on my recovery, easy, and long runs. I'll take this month off from racing, train, and then scope out some races for September. October will be a very important month of racing as well with the 10 miler and half marathon coming up.
