Sean, Ray Martinez, Geoff, and Mike showed up for this workout. The heat and humidity were oppressive but we went ahead did the workout anyway. I was good right up until the 7.25 mark. After that I hung on the pace till 7.4 and then fell apart and quit at the 7.5 mile mark. This was probably the toughest conditions that we have run the progressive run under and the results indicate that. Even though this workout is pretty uncomfortable for me I always seem to want more the following week. I'm probably a glutton for punishment. Or maybe it's because of the workout's effectiveness. This workout has been one of the keys to me racing well.
