6.25 Miles Easy

7:25 pace, speed limit of no faster than 7:00 pace at the behest of Sean. I need to keep everything under wraps till Saturday. Once again nice cool weather. The legs felt great. I tell ya, I could do speed work all day. It's the long stuff I don't like.

Komen Race For the Cure Saturday. Big time race for me. Big. The first time I ran the race I ran a 16:51 and it was one of the most painful races I'd ever run (Brought upon myself!). The second time I ran it I dropped 48 seconds and ran a 16:03. Let's hope for a similar improvement this Saturday!

Run a good one. It's hard to rest up for a race....but the legs will be fresh...enjoy the easy days and rock the roads.

JB- you should know it's an athletic curse to predict a win a s it serves to motivate the competition and put undo pressure on the athlete. If you ever desire shadenfreude towards an athlete, then predict a win for her and your desires shall come true! We're not in Kansas any more, Lu!

oh please, for the person who said brett riley will win, in what world are you living in? Bill can take him down easy with all due respect. Bill has a kick that sean, luise, or anyone in town cant match. Brett was hurt fora while i doubt he can go faster than uhhhhh lets say 15:58. If homeboy lui wana win he better run low 15s cause if it aint Watch out, Bill is gona own him in the last 300. Now if i was there i woulda kicked all ur arses even though am a highscoola take yall to school.

while you guys are going to pamper yourselves with a 15:20-15:45 5k times, some old ass wade is going to be busting 2:24 marathon or faster. You all are chicks or is it cheeks compared to him. You know like a hot chick or lady. just kidding guys i truly enjoyed this thread & its going to grow even better after the race.

My legs beg to differ! The beauty of this sport is there is POTENTIAL and there are RESULTS. ill take an ounce of results over a pound of potential anyday. I have been lauded as many things but until I perform or come through WHEN IT COUNTS then thats all ill be! Ill follow your instructions to not pamper ourselves and let the results speak for themselves. Clock dont lie, and neither will I! 15:25-Lu.

lu you should have been in poetry. get a patent quickly, what you just wrote rhymes & its smooth. give it to someone to Publish it in a running book as a quote with Lu next to it. oh by the way, what was bret rileys time?
