Ridiculously hot and humid, probably about 82° with about 90 something percent humidity. I felt good today but made a concerted effort to take it easy. Tomorrow I will be introduced to the "Russian" Fartlek. Sean told me it should be harder than the torture workout.

i will be interested in what a russian fartlek is. i do polish fartleks at the gym :)

Hmmm, Polish Fartleks?
yes. basically you do a 3 sets of whatever...hard as you can then you run a 400m track. repeat. over and over.
for example 3 sets of lat pull downs. run the track. 3 sets of seated rows. run the track.
will work your ass off.
oh and my gym had a 200m track upstairs where the free weights and some of the Cybex machines were, so it made it easier of course.
